Nortam Accounting was born during a time of significant transition for Osmair and Marcos, its founding partners, who decided to leave their former accounting firm and create something new, modern, and powered by technology. Carrying years of experience and a bold vision, they wanted to define a clear path for the future of their business. The challenge was to create a brand identity that not only represented technical excellence but also the care and personal attention they provide to their clients.

Rebranding Project: Nortam Accounting

The branding process began with the selection of the name, one of the most challenging and crucial elements for the brand’s success. Osmair and Marcos, known for being guides to their clients, were always ready to help entrepreneurs navigate the challenges of managing a business in Brazil. This role as a “north” for their clients inspired the name Nortam – a combination of “north” and the compass that guides their clients’ success.

As one of the most valuable assets of a brand, the name is one of the longest-lasting elements, often enduring changes in visual identity or logo. It was essential to ensure that the name carried all the meaning and responsibility that Osmair and Marcos already had with their clients, guaranteeing that Nortam would continue guiding them for decades to come.

Nortam’s positioning was clearly defined: “The north is where we point,” with the concept that Nortam is “the compass for your business’s success.” This essence was visually translated through the combination of two central elements: the compass and the North Star, which came together to form the brand’s symbol. Additionally, variations of the North Star were used as graphic elements in compositions and layouts, reinforcing the guiding concept across all touchpoints.

The visual identity was complemented by a palette of blue tones, ranging from light to dark, symbolizing Nortam’s ability to guide clients through various conditions. The photography direction conveyed seriousness and security, essential elements for Nortam’s market perception. The brand’s perceived value significantly increased, opening new business opportunities and paving the way for Nortam to be seen as a reference in the market.

Spiren Incorporadora was born from the union of three well-established companies in the market: CCS Empreendimentos, BXP Construções, and Krebs+ Arquitetura. The challenge was to create a brand that represented the synergy between these companies, forming a complete and efficient ecosystem where all stages of the development process are conducted in-house, without the need for outsourcing. The new name and visual identity needed to express this centralization and the efficiency provided by this integrated workflow model.

The name Spiren was inspired by the idea of cyclical and synergistic movement, derived from the concept of a spiral. “Spiral” not only carries the notion of continuity and flow but also symbolizes the harmonious functioning of the mechanisms that make Spiren operate as a cohesive unit. “Centralization is synergetic. Centralization organizes chaos.” — this principle guided the creation of the name, representing the organization of chaotic processes into a more efficient and streamlined development experience.

Spiren’s visual identity was built around the spiral, which inspired the brand’s symbol. The “S” in Spiren and Synergy is present in the logo, reinforcing the idea of efficiency and integration in its workflow. The spiral represents the continuous and uninterrupted movement of a modern, tech-driven company committed to quality and efficiency in every delivery.

The new brand marked the beginning of a new phase for the company, being well-received by both the partners and the market. Internally, the name and identity managed to represent the collective vision of the nine partners, overcoming the challenge of finding an expression that connected all stakeholders. Externally, the name “Spiren” and its visual identity facilitated new business opportunities and opened doors to the market, consolidating the company as a key player in the industry.

In addition to branding, we developed a new website for Spiren, which became the brand’s central touchpoint and reinforced its positioning as an innovative and efficient company, ready to face the challenges of the construction market.

Despite being a young company, Predict needed to be perceived as solid, modern, and robust—essential attributes to establish itself in the highly competitive technology and engineering market.

The challenge of conveying maturity and trust was addressed with a visual identity that reflected constant innovation and robustness. The choice of circular shapes in typography and supporting graphics symbolizes the continuous movement of evolution and innovation, central characteristics of Predict. To reinforce this idea of solidity and technology, the color palette was carefully selected: neutral tones of gray and black brought depth and seriousness to the brand, while red accents represented power, evolution, and the “spark” of new ideas.

This new visual identity positioned Predict as a strong and powerful brand, emphasizing its ability to drive innovation and create opportunities for new business ventures. Both internal and external reception was extremely positive. The brand is now seen as a bridge to major projects and a key player in the technology and engineering market.

Dom Pagamentos began its journey as a payment gateway with a high transaction approval rate (99%), building an excellent reputation among its clients. However, the brand faced the challenge of evolving to connect with a more stable and established audience, such as e-commerce platforms and physical stores, moving away from associations with drop shippers and temporary businesses. Additionally, Dom was preparing to expand its services and transform into a complete ecosystem, offering not only payment solutions but also digital banking, card machines, mentoring, and other services aimed at empowering entrepreneurs.

The goal was to reposition the brand to reflect this transition, preserving its legacy of strong client relationships while also conveying robustness and innovation. The rebranding process began by retaining the colors and shapes of the original symbol, with subtle adjustments in hue and composition to modernize the logo. The branding now focused on the name “Dom,” which represents the entire integrated ecosystem of solutions. The symbol was refined and integrated into the typography, with the “O” in “Dom” becoming the central visual icon.

To enhance the sense of robustness and trust, the color palette was updated to include darker shades of green, accompanied by light gray and white to balance the visual composition. The photography highlighted quality of life and well-being, emphasizing that with Dom, clients can trust the process and focus on growing their businesses without concerns about payment issues or blocks, as often happens with other gateways.

Dom’s new website was also redesigned to align with the brand’s repositioning, serving as the central touchpoint for acquiring new clients and reinforcing the brand’s more robust and professional tone of voice.

The new brand was extremely well received by current clients and opened new opportunities for Dom Pagamentos, now positioned as a major player in the financial solutions market. The transition was carefully planned to ensure the essence of the old brand was preserved, avoiding friction during the change. Through meticulous research and a well-structured onboarding process, Dom successfully completed this transformation.
